Boundaries for participation in Little League can be found on the Little League website at Little League's League Finder Players who live outside of these boundaries should contact the Little League in their area for more information.
NOTE: Exception to this rule is if your child attends school within our catchment area. A letter of proof from the school is required for new players who are claiming this exception.
In addition, we accept players from outside our boundaries in our Special Needs Challengers Division and may accept players from outside these boundaries in our Softball divisions.
Player assignment is at the discretion of the Division Heads, who aim to create balanced teams and to encourage competitive play. We do not as a rule accomodate specific placement requests. However, we cannot guarantee placement for players who can only play on one weekend day.
Players who anticipate missing more than 2 games SHOULD NOT register for WSLL. If any player does register and misses more than 2 games, rules about player usage WILL NOT APPLY to that player. If any player misses one game without notifying their Coach at least 24 hours in advance, rules about player usage WILL NOT APPLY to that player. Returning players who register ON TIME AND ON LINE are given priority over new players, and over returning players who register late.
All players must have their own mitts (WITH THEIR FULL NAME WRITTEN ON IT) and wear appropriate footwear-sneakers or plastic cleats (NO METAL CLEATS). The League provides bats, balls, team batting helmets & catcher's gear. If a player brings his/her own bat it must conform to Little League bat policy and be marked with the player's name. Below is a link to provide guidance in choosing an authorized bat: https://www.littleleague.org/playing-rules/bat-information/. Players can bring their own batting helmet for personal use but it must labeled "NOCSAE Approved" and be marked with the player's name. All male players ages 9 and up are required to wear an athletic supporter with protective cup.
League policy for players New to the League: all New baseball players ages 10 and up must be evaluated before the start of the season. This is to insure the safety of players who are new to the league. If they cannot safely be placed on a team, they will receive a full refund.
Please contact the League Registrar if you have questions about your eligibility.
